The Buddhist and Pali University in Homagama reopened for academic activities on Monday (27).

Accordingly, Vice Chancellor of the University Ven. Dr. Neluwe Sumanawansa Thera stated that the university was only reopened for first-year students.

The university was temporarily closed on 19 December 2022, days after alleged ragging incidents came to light.
